Product Description

Product Description
Ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid, often abbreviated EDTA, is an organic compound. It is a hexadentate ligand that can chelate a variety of metal ions. Its 4 acids and 2 amine parts can be used as ligand teeth, with manganese (II), copper (II), iron (III) and cobalt (II) metal ions to form chelates.
EDTA is an organic compound with the chemical formula C10H16N2O8 and is a white powder at room temperature and pressure. It is a chelating agent that can bind with Mg2+, Ca2+, Mn2+, Fe2+ and other bivalent metal ions. Mg2+ is often used as an inhibitor of nucleases and  because most nucleases and some protein enzymes require Mg2+. It can also be used to remove the inhibition of heavy metal ions on enzymes.

Application

1. Ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) is an important complexing agent. EDTA is widely used, can be used as color photosensitive material washing processing bleaching fixing solution, dyeing AIDS, fiber treatment AIDS, cosmetic additives, blood anticoagulant, detergent, stabilizer, synthetic rubber polymerization initiator, EDTA is a representative of chelating agent. It can form stable water-soluble complexes with alkali metals, rare earth elements and transition metals. In addition to sodium salts, there are ammonium salts and iron, magnesium, calcium, copper, manganese, zinc, cobalt, aluminum and other salts, which have different uses. In addition, EDTA can also be used to make harmful radioactive metals quickly excreted from the body to play a detoxification role. It's also a water treatment agent. EDTA is also an important indicator, but it is used to titrate metal nickel, copper, etc., when used with ammonia, Chemicalbook can play the role of indicator.
2. Ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid is an excellent chelating agent of calcium and magnesium ions, used as a chelating agent of water used in emulsion polymerization, to remove Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe2+, Fe3+ and other metal ions. It is also used as a complex agent of anaerobic adhesive, that is, EDTA is used to treat double methacrylate, remove transition metal ions, eliminate the effect of promoting the decomposition of peroxide, and improve the stability of anaerobic adhesive. EDTA sodium salt chelated metal ions can improve the modified acrylic acid faster. Solid structural adhesive (SGA) storage stability, the amount of -3×10-4 ~ 6.0×10-4. Dosage 1.5%, 50~C storage stability of more than 360h (50ºC storage for 4d, equivalent to SGA20~C storage for 1 year).
3.Ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid often used in boiler water softening. Prevent scaling.
