Product Description

Product Description

Name:Titanium Dioxide
Appearance: white powder
HS code: 3206111000

Titanium dioxide is considered to be the best white pigment in the world. It is widely used in coatings, plastics, papermaking, printing inks, chemical fiber, rubber, cosmetics and other industries.
Titanium dioxide (titanium dioxide) is chemically stable and does not react with most substances under normal circumstances. In nature, titanium dioxide has three crystals: brookite, anatase and rutile. The brookite type is an unstable crystal type and has no industrial use value. Anatase is abbreviated as A type, and Rutile is abbreviated as R type. Both have a stable crystal lattice and are important white pigments and porcelain glazes. Compared with other white pigments, it has superior whiteness, tinting power, hiding power, weather resistance, heat resistance, and chemical stability, especially non-toxic.

Usage

1. In paint industry, It is used as white pigment. such as interior and exterior latex paints, road sign
paint, anti-corrosive paint, antifouling paint, marine paint.
2. widely used in industries includes indoor&outdoor coatings, industrial coatings, powder coatings.
Used as coating and filling in paper-making industry to help paper to be printable and opaque.
3. It also be used in plastics (PVC, PE, polystyrene and polyurethane etc.
4. Used in synthetic fiber, rubber, printing ink, leather, dying etc
5. In metallurgical industry, it can be used to make spongy titanium, alloy of titanium and iron and hard
alloy, etc.

Packaging & Shipping

Available in 25kg woven bags, craft bags, or 1000kg big woven plastic bags. The product is a white powder that is safe, non-toxic, and harmless. Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture. Avoid breathing dust and wash with soap & water if skin contact occurs. Refer to the MSDS for more details.

Packaging: Titanium dioxide should be stored in sealed, moisture-proof packaging containers to prevent the ingress of moisture, moisture and other contaminants.

Temperature: Try to store titanium dioxide in a dry, cool environment, away from high temperatures and direct sunlight, to prevent chemical reactions or loss of properties.

Avoid Moisture: Moisture is titanium dioxide's main enemy, causing it to absorb moisture and clump. Therefore, contact between titanium dioxide and moisture should be avoided as much as possible, and desiccants such as silica or drying ovens can be used to absorb moisture.

Avoid vibration: Try to avoid titanium dioxide from vibration and severe shock to prevent particles from rubbing against each other or breaking.

Classified storage: If different types or grades of titanium dioxide need to be stored, they should be stored in classified categories to avoid mixed use or cross-contamination.White Powder Titanium Dioxide TiO2 Rutile Anatase GradeWhite Powder Titanium Dioxide TiO2 Rutile Anatase GradeWhite Powder Titanium Dioxide TiO2 Rutile Anatase GradeWhite Powder Titanium Dioxide TiO2 Rutile Anatase GradeWhite Powder Titanium Dioxide TiO2 Rutile Anatase Grade
