Microcrystalline wax is a solid-like substance, usually white or yellow, with a soft texture and good ductility. Industrial applications: Microcrystalline waxes are widely used in lubricants, preservatives, sealants, and various coatings and adhesives. It has excellent lubricity and water resistance, which reduces friction and wear. There are two main methods for making microcrystalline wax: Paraffin extraction, and refining.
